Shurik'n - Oú je vis (1998)

Shurik'n es uno de los heavyweights del rap Francés. Más conocido por su grupo, IAM, uno de los buques insignia de la escena europea, Shurik'n siempre fué un alumno aventajado. En 1997, IAM había sacado el que seguramente fué hasta entonces el mejor disco de rap francés, L'ecole du micro dàrgent, había alcanzado repercusión internacional y las cotas de popularidad adquiridas por el grupo llegaron a niveles desconocidos para el hip hop francés. Así, Shurik'n, con todo de cara, decide editar su segundo larga duración en 1998, sacando un auténtico clásico.

Cimentado sobre instrumentales muy musicales, el marsellés despliega sus increibles habilidades, dando fé de su gran potencial en cada track del disco. Dicen de él que es uno de los mejores letristas que ha dado Francia, pero, si te pasa como a mi, que no prestaste todo el tiempo debido a las clases de francés del colegio, aún te puedes deleitar con la voz y el flow de este vieja escuela transalpino. De lo mejorcito que he oido de nuestros vecinos del norte. Esto es rap de calidad señores.
